Tarot Telescope – Week of September 13 2009

Every Sunday, I interpret two randomly selected tarot cards for the week ahead on Tarot Telescope and closely examine vibrations, energies, and frequencies affecting humankind collectively. Rather than an advice column or giving predictions, the cards empower and enlighten for the best and highest good for our divinatory journeys.

This week, I shuffled the deck and pulled Ace of Swords and Eight of Cups.

To quote John 8:32, Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. The truth comes in many forms, through many devices. Truths are innocent or perplexing. Once digesting truth, your mindset becomes focused and you're ready to embrace eternal freedom and happiness. This is a time of exploring deeper truths, releasing you from convoluted life patterns and circumstances. The Ace of Swords identifies with getting to "the bottom" or clearing mental clutter to observe visibly (third eye expansion). Your view of life therefore changes, and what you once perceived as "truth" becomes something else entirely different. A chain reaction then offsets an inner quest for emotional fulfillment, seeking higher ground, and eventually walking away from situations (people or places) no longer serving a purpose. Anxieties, tension, strife, and conflicts are strong indicators of coming forward with the truth, either about others, you, or all of the above. You might very well dislike the results and become disillusioned for a period of time; however, the road doesn't stop here. As the journey towards divine truth continues, so does how you see yourself inwardly. Life then becomes more adventurous and less agonizing. The Eight of Cups portray a conclusion after recognizing truth. You then pick yourself up, dust yourself, and begin anew by filling an emotional void through establishing your TRUE identity. This week's cards suggest searching inside for truth which validates and confirms movement towards your personal growth and spiritual evolution. The truth will set you free!

See you next Sunday!

Tarot Telescope – Week of September 6 2009

(A day late cause of Labor Day festivities yesterday)

Every Sunday, I interpret two randomly selected tarot cards for the week ahead on Tarot Telescope and closely look into energies, vibrations, and frequencies affecting us collectively. Rather than an advice column or giving predictions, the cards empower and enlighten for the best and highest good for our divinatory journeys.

This week, I shuffled the deck and pulled Page of Pentacles and Two of Pentacles.

Adults and children are hitting the books this week in droves; of course, spending money on school supplies probably comes as financial burdens. Over the next several days, I detect a positive shift in abundance through new opportunities for monetary increases or likelihood of unsuspected [government] checks being issued to qualified applicants [of grants or financial assistance]. Furthermore, if you are looking for employment, now is the time to progressively 'hit the pavement'. Rather than sending resumes by e-mail to potential companies, invest in postal mailing. By doing so, it sends a clear message that you are serious and proactive about finding work. Regardless of what the unemployment rates suggest, new jobs are being created. Since summertime is winding now, there's news forthcoming about such possibilities. However, the end results are neither instantaneous nor guaranteed to happen immediately or overnight, thereby taking a bit longer to materialize. It's still imperative to monitor budgets although you may be feeling as if juggling your finances has been going on forever! Temporary setbacks, or a little turbulence with money, may occur but keep your intentions high on the faith radar. As with any challenge or obstacle, the short-term hindrance soon passes but that truly depends on reaction. In addition, some of us could face the possibility of moving (long distance, mileage) to seek better choices. Don't let fear impede from taking monumental leaps. The Universe prepares for a cycle of change, and it begins with our willingness to accept, allow, and advance.

See you next Sunday!

Tarot Telescope – Week of August 30 2009

In this first edition of Tarot Telescope, I interpret two randomly selected tarot cards for the week ahead. I will continue Tarot Telescope every Sunday as part of my blog. Tarot Telescope is a way of looking into energies, vibrations, and frequencies affecting us collectively. Rather than an advice column or giving predictions, the cards empower and enlighten for the best and highest good for our life journeys.

This week, I shuffled the deck and pulled Nine of Pentacles and Temperance.

Combined, these cards suggest a sense of harvesting successes and being eternally grateful for what we have gathered. Through diligence and hard work, the seeds planted long ago manifested into the fruits of our labor, and we are assessing over the goods (or results). It has been a long goal, oftentimes tedious and a struggle, but we overcame challenges and now looking over our crop. Mind you, the work (or divine plan) is not over – far from it! With a sense of completion, it's time to see what is now available in terms of taking what has been reaped to the next level. Keep an open mind with brighter visions by looking beyond current success. It's time to replant seeds for new growth and expansion. Furthermore, it's time to combine the harvested fruits with fresh ingredients, such as ideas, visions, and keen foresight. See yourself as a winemaker. Your harvested grapes, along with natural additives, are now in the process of creating new wine. Once the wine has matured, the taste of your desires becomes everything you imagined. This week, instead of dwelling on being stuck or remaining at a plateau, mix your existing talents with newly found interests or abilities. Your higher self is channeling more broad perspectives, extremely vital to taking what you've already used to higher levels. Follow your instincts and be the winemaker!

See you next Sunday!

Weird week, today's radio show, and other ramblings...

It's been a weird week to say the least; makes me wonder if it has to do with the solar eclipse on the 22nd. Anyhow, the week began with a family member confessing a rather important secret to me (which I cannot divulge publicly). Surprising? Yes. Shocking? Perhaps. But I wasn't so convinced and decided not to pursue it further. Even if the secret is fact, it's best I keep it the way it's been...a secret.

Then, my day job has been well, unusual. We had server issues affecting the network for hours at a time, so I wasn't able to access files. That was a bit annoying... I think many of us are experiencing shifts, and it's been raising a lot of unnecessary fears. With a solar eclipse in the not too distant future, actually in a few days, those of us who are metaphysically inclined are saying it's a prequel to 2012 and everything associated with it. I'm not even *thinking* 2012 until December 31, 2011. I'm sure the solar eclipse will be breathtaking if not for the presumption it's bringing changes within our consciousness. But the whole week has been quite bizarre... friends are having strange dreams, people are losing their homes (or being displaced), family quarrels are spinning out of control, and other visible 'signs'. I was close to quitting my job yesterday because it's the most redundant, backward place I ever experienced in terms of employment. But my logical, practical mind prevailed once again and I am returning on Monday. "It's that paycheck!" "Gotta keep a roof over my head"...yada yada yada... it's not enough. It feels by staying with a mediocre job I'm living a lie; I deserve living a exemplary life which doesn't include 8 hours of inconvenience, Monday to Friday. I rather use the 8 hours in more meaningful ways...

Today's my radio show @ 3pm eastern and the subject is The Karmic Backstory. I invite you to listen and even call the show for readings...
Achieve Radio

Tomorrow's the Spirit Gathering in NYC. If you're interested in coming, the gathering begins at 3pm sharp. Call (212) 567-9688 for details.

Anyhow, it's time to meditate before showtime. Enjoy your weekend!

If someone told you a secret...

...that could have an immense impact on your life... would you go through with learning more or keeping it a secret? And what if the secret didn't seem so surprising at all? What if clues over the years had you question your true identity... but such silly notions were dismissed? What if you always felt different from the ones who raised and loved you? But those were just silly thoughts. If the secret could EXPLAIN your background, would you proceed in knowing more? Or leaving it alone?

Decisions... decisions...

And yes, the secret's about me! (?????)

Abundance and 888

Just realized a check given me by the host of last night's party is #0888. In numerology, 8+8+8 = 24. 2 + 4 = 6, my life path number. And, according to Doreen Virtue's Angel Numbers:

The Universe is abundant and generous, and you've learned how to step into the shower of its ever-present flow. Great financial prosperity is yours, now and in the future.

Check #888 is going to the bank tomorrow with an intention: THE UNIVERSE IS ABUNDANT!

You can't make this stuff up...

When asked about your spirituality, what do you say?

Last night, I gave tarot readings at a birthday party (for entertainment purposes - oy!) and posted the experience on my Facebook page. Well, a family member, who happens to be Christian, sent me a private message basically saying tarot readings are not part of her Bible studies, and she was curious about why I use Tarot. My response?

God is much more than Christianity, more than Catholicism, more than Judaism, more than Buddhism, more than Hinduism, and more than Islam. There isn't a label placed on God, which is why I don't believe in organized religion. With that said, for me Tarot is a method used to enhance and uplift Spiritual Awareness. It's not evil or devil-incarnate. Simply a pathway towards the Light and Love which is God, Divine, Creator, Source, Spirit, Father, Mother, All That Is.

You may not agree and that's fine. All paths lead to the Divine. I have mine and you have yours. :)

Curiosity, or asking questions, gives us an opportunity to understand different spiritual beliefs. It opens healthy discussions about how we live as children of God, regardless of how or what we practice. Besides, discussing spiritual paths eliminate fears and prejudices.

This came from a place of love, not accusatory reaction or making her wrong for asking about my spiritual practice. I hope she accepts and moves on! :)

I've been asked to be featured on an upcoming psychic radio show later this month so stay tuned...
